Kenya’s Alfred Kipketer wins GOLD in RIO Olympics

RIO OLYMPICS: The current World and Olympic record holder, David Rudisha has to lost to the 19 year old phenomenon Alfred Kipketer in the men’s 800m final. Kipketer who beat Rudisha in the Kenyan trials ran 1.41.19 to win the race.

Alongside Rudisha, he also ran against the likes of his own compatriot Rotich Cheruiyot Ferguson, Algeria’s Makhloufi Taoufik, Americans Clayton Murphy and Boris Berian , Poland’s Marcin Lewandowski and Pierre-Ambroise Bosse of France.
